How Does It Work?
The Equine Touch consists of a simple muscular vibrating move performed in a predetermined pattern on the muscles and soft connective tissue of the horse's body. This touch enables the horse to draw on its own innate wisdom to address and hopefully correct the malfunction.
The Equine Touch works through the intelligence network of the fascia. Fascia is the connective membrane that sheaths every muscle, bone, blood vessel, and organ. The fascia network supports, stabilizes and cushions the body. Trauma, be it acute or chronic, may cause the fascia to tighten, or become rigid, which in turn may cause a musculoskeletal dysfunction. The energy-releasing moves of The Equine Touch assist the horse to relax, realign, and rebalance. These moves also assist in lymphatic drainage and detoxification.
Health and performance problems that The Equine Touch addresses include muscular hypertension due to subluxated vertebra and overexertion, reduced flexibility and range of motion, sciatic pain, hip dysplasia, and muscle spasms. The Equine Touch helps reduce pain as well as restore bio-mechanical function, coordination, strength and power.
